A week-long literary festival in Ubud built around the theme 'Samarasa: Awareness. Empathy. Action.', with over a hundred separate events including panels, poetry slams, literary luncheons, independent book launches, film screenings and cultural performances. The programme brings together authors, journalists and thinkers such as Tari Lang, Dandhy Laksono, Randa Abdel-Fattah, Todung Mulya Lubis, Brian Lang, Dee Lestari, Kiran Desai, Oka Rusmini and Rachel Clarke.
