Sunset at Uluwatu Temple, where a circle of chanting men builds a wall of sound while the fire dance tells the Ramayana on the cliff's edge. Two performances run back to back, one at 6pm and another at 7pm, so there's a second show if you miss the first. Touristy, yes - but the setting (temple, ocean, sky going pink) makes it one of those things you don't skip. Come early for a seat with a view.
